Dubbed VBASE (Vehicle-Based Accommodation for Seasonal Employees), the initiative will permit qualified employees to reside in RVs or similar vehicles at their workplaces during the summer of 2024.

“This is a testament to our dedication to supporting the local workforce and addressing their unique housing challenges,” stated Paul Hornbeck, Senior Planner for the town. “The one-year pilot program offers a dynamic solution that directly caters to the needs of our community.”

Participation is restricted to businesses within town limits, with a limit of one VBASE unit per establishment.
