Election Officials Warn: Too Late to Mail Ballots for June 30 Primary

With the June 30 primary election just days away, the Colorado Secretary of State’s office has issued a final warning to voters: do not rely on the United States Postal Service to deliver your ballot on time.

Voters who have not yet mailed their ballots must now utilize one of the state’s secure drop boxes or surrender their mail ballot to vote in person at a designated polling center. By law, ballots must be received by county clerks no later than 7:00 p.m. on Election Day. Postmarks do not count.

Colorado offers 437 secure drop boxes and 137 voting centers statewide. Voters can track the status of their ballot processing through the state’s online portal to ensure their vote is counted before the polls close on Tuesday night.
